Shadow Edge Vessel - No. 2

A study of movement held in clay. This vessel shares the geometry of its unglazed counterpart, yet the Tenmoku glaze transforms the form, draping itself over the soft curved edges and catching light across its surface. Formed in Vulcan black stoneware, the vessel stands in firm, rectangular planes, while the upper edge rises in curved folds shaped entirely by hand. The interplay of solid form and fluid finish gives the piece a quiet sense of movement. Both vase and sculpture, it brings a dark, reflective presence to any space.

Hand-built in stoneware and sealed with a Tenmoku glaze. Suitable for use with water and best cared for with a soft, dry cloth.
